Who is Yardphiroon
“I see my work as a blend of reality and imagination—a mix of abstract and figurative elements that capture places and people to whom I've felt a special connection. The main colors are white and earthy tones mixed with golden leaf, together with metallic colors. It’s about reimagining environments and showcasing their beauty in fresh, unique ways.
Art has always been close to my heart, alongside my passions for fashion and nature. My Art and English teacher, who helped me pursue my path in art, once encouraged me to 'Follow what inspires you and dream without limits,' and those words have stayed with me. After studying Fashion Design at the Faculty of Decorative Arts at Silpakorn University and working with luxury goods and hotel, I’m now focused on representing Thai artists and sharing my art with the world.
My 'Living Earth' series marks the beginning of my creative journey. Through daily painting, I’ve discovered new techniques and ideas.
For me, painting is about the journey—the exploration and expression—rather than a final destination.”
Why I became an Artist?
“From a young age, I loved dressing up. Whenever my family went out, my parents and sister would patiently wait for me to finish getting ready (laughs). There was something magical about putting on a beautiful outfit—it made me feel confident, alive, and connected to something beyond the ordinary. I often drew women in elegant dresses, imagining the world they belonged to, and I’d hang those drawings on my bedroom wall.
After school, my parents couldn’t afford to send me to art school, but during my time studying English in Brannon, Roi-et, my teachers helped me find my way. They encouraged me to pursue my passion for art, telling me to ‘follow what inspires you and dream without limits.’ Their words stayed with me, and they gave me the strength to keep going.I later studied Fashion Design at Silpakorn University and worked with luxury brands, but my heart always remained with art. Now, I focus on representing Thai artists and sharing my own creations with the world. I always remind myself, 'Once you start, never stop doing it.’ Being an artist isn’t just about creating—it’s about making sense of my own life. Through my art, I hope to help others make sense of theirs, too.”
